Mallam Isah Yuguda (Bauchi State Governor) Denies Links with Boko Haram
Mallam Isah Yuguda, has denied having any links with Boko Haram, decrying all allegations levelled against him.
Yuguda, who spoke Thursday at the presentation of a journal on the transformation agenda of President Goodluck Jonathan in Abuja said “We have migrated from one problem to the other and the thing that is bothering the country today is the insurgency of Boko Haram. Nigeria faces the threat of becoming a failed state if we do not imbibe the right policies and do something to check the spread of Boko Haram attacks”
He further said and we quote “I had my first encounter with Boko Haram in 2009 and I want to assure you that we do not have Boko Haram in Bauchi state. If you hear anything they do in Bauchi, you know that they came from outside to hit and run”
