CAC president’s forgery case adjourned

Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Pastor Elijah Olusheye and three others case has been adjourned till March 13 to 15 for hearing.

The adjournment was at the instance of Mr Salawu Kareem, the prosecutor who wanted to produce his witnesses in court.

Counts one to three stated that the first three accused, on September 4, 1991 forged minutes of a meeting purportedly signed by Pastor J.B. Orogun (deceased) and Pastor Taiwo Odesola (at large); on September 27, 1991, forged minutes of a meeting purportedly convened by the Christ Apostolic Church.

Counsel for the accused, Mr Oluwagbenga Olatunji, the prosecutor and Justice Jonathan Shakarho agreed for the adjournment of the case for the above mentioned dates.
