Boko Haram News: 8 Killed in Damaturu
Boko Haram News – Eight were reported killed in Damaturu, Yobe State by gunmen suspected to be members of Boko Haram.
A resident in Nasarawa and who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said: “It is true because my neighbour was one of the victims.
He was killed on Sunday night and they have taken his corpse to his home town today, Monday. I also know of another case in Pawari on Saturday night. One of my church members told me the man who hails from Adamawa State was also killed in a midnight attack by Boko Haram.”
“Governor Ibrahim Gaidam has directed that movements of all motorcycle including Okada riders or Achaba be restricted between 5pm and 7am daily,” the statement reads, adding that the restriction order takes immediate effect.
The restriction, according to the governor was part of the measure to safeguard life and property of the people.
