Boko Haram Latest – Boko Haram sect has reject negotiations with the Federal Government and threathens to kidnap government officials’ family members and bomb schools.

This was made known via an Internet audio message posted for the group by Imam Abubakar Shekau.

The 40-minutes message also for the first time discusses Boko Haram’s goal:

- Complete adoption of Islam across Nigeria

- Multiethnic nation of more than 160 million people split largely between a Christian south and a Muslim north.

- To order more violence to accomplish these goals.

“If Nigerian security forces are going to places of worship and destroying them, like mosques and Quranic schools, you have primary schools as well, you have secondary schools and universities and we will start bombing them,” Shekau said. “Touch us and see. That is what we will do.”

Shekau was quoted as saying “Negotiations between the sect and the government will never happen. If Jonathan does not repent as a Muslim, even if I die myself, Jonathan’s going to see. He’s looking at me like I’m nobody, but he’ll see.”
